Description
Steelcut 3 was designed by Frans Dijkmeijer.
Born in 1936 on Dutch soil, Frans studied at the Design Academy in Eindhoven. He joined in 1992 Kvadrat got to work and then designed the predecessor of Steelcut 3, namely Steelcut 2. It has now been updated in a collection with modern colors.
This collection is characterized by wear resistance and an innovative weave. The weave pattern causes small pyramids to rise to the surface, giving the fabric a three-dimensional effect. The precision and uniformity give Steelcut 3 a simple, calm appearance.
The colors were designed by Giulio Ridolfo.
