Description
Sisu is a collection designed by Nanna Ditzel and would still be in the archives without the curiosity of Danh Vo.
Nanna Ditzel is known for her collection: Hallingdal, which she created in 1965 Kvadrat created. When Danh Vo was allowed to curate an exhibition at the Danish National Gallery, he came across Sisu, who was subsequently given a place in the exhibition called 'Take My Breath Away'. Danh vo discovered that Nanna Ditzel often did not attach her name to her designs.
Sisu is a textile woven with thick, bulky, woolen yarns. The thick yarns make the bold, yet subtle checkered pattern stand out even more.
