Description
Custom-made sheepskins, from our own private label, to restore the Swedese Lamino.
Swedese is a Swedish furniture manufacturer founded in 1945 by the two brothers Yngve and Jerker Ekström, and Sven Bertil Sjöqvist. This timeless furniture design brand has proven its own vision over time. The starting point is to create furniture for the future, which is based on the foundations of Scandinavian traditions.
The Lamino from Swedese was designed by Yngve Ekström in 1956. Typical of this chair is the sturdy seat that its comfort is achieved by using short-haired sheep's wool with a very dense coat structure. The high coat density ensures that heat is retained and body moisture is removed, keeping the muscles warmer. This can relieve back pain, bedsore complaints and pressure ulcers.
The sheepskins are tailor-made for the Swedese Lamino. The coat is rectangular and longer than a normal coat so that it is long enough to upholster the Lamino. The different pieces come from the same fur and are made together as shown in the photo.
This is done with precision and craftsmanship, so that you are not hindered by the different stitching seams during processing.
All hides are tanned with mineralle substances that keep the leather fuller, softer and thicker.
