Twinwool is a furniture fabric made from De Ploeg which consists of plied yarns consisting of a mix of virgin wool and Bionic. This is a material that is not often found, so here is a brief explanation:

Bionic is the direction in research into the functioning of natural systems and how they can be translated into technical applications. Bionic material is therefore artificial material that is inspired by nature. In combination with virgin wool, this makes a nice combination that results in a pleasant surface.

The fabric itself consists of two plied yarns that are woven in a classic weave pattern, which ultimately creates a regular pattern.
