This fabric from De Ploeg has a very high wool content, namely 70%, and scores high when we talk about wear resistance. Due to the high wool content, the fabric contains fine stretch qualities that lend themselves well to round shapes. But what kind of substance is it? Feltwool is, as the name suggests, felt-like wool.
For this onenovative fabric, fibers are first dried after which the material is then dyed in different shades. After the dye bath, the different colors are mixed together and then woven. This way of developing fabric makes the different colors subtly yet clearly stand out.
