Description
The Galucha Collection by Aristide is part of our eco-leather range. Galucha means leather made from the skin of sharks or lobsters. It became popular in Europe thanks to Jean-Claude Galluchat, a master leather worker at the court of Louis XV in France. Fortunately, these upholstery fabrics do not contain shark, lobster or other animal tissue.
The surface consists mainly of plastic with a cotton backing. This makes the fabric extremely durable (90.000 Martindale). Galucha is also fire retardant, whicherarepellent, stain resistant, extremely strong and easy to maintain. The fabric can be easily cleaned with a brush, water, neutral soap and clean water.
The fabrics are available in 13 dark autumn colors and also have a very good price-quality ratio!
